President John Hook is the president of The Hook Group. The Hook Group is a management and marketing consulting firm serving non-profit and corporate clients nationwide. As president, John is dedicated to providing the firm’s clients with outstanding service and results by connecting them with the necessary tools to achieve business excellence. John has spent 25 years in management and marketing positions with several well-known firms including IKON Office Solutions, The Limited, Eller Media, Electronics Boutique and The Creative Coalition. He has held management titles as diverse as CEO, CFO, Regional Manager, Deputy Director, District Manager and General Manager, and held marketing positions serving national and regional accounts. These business experiences give John the unique ability to see workplace issues from both the line associate and management viewpoints, allowing him to quickly identify items that are impeding organizations from thriving in today’s business environment. John’s management experiences have brought him numerous corporate awards and recognition for sales, profit, personnel and administrative achievements. His expertise in a variety of areas – operations, marketing, human resources, information technology and facilities – has made him a valuable asset in today’s multi-dimensional business environment. John was educated at the Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Hook is a lifetime member of the Penn State Alumni Association as well as president of an Alumni Interest Group. He enjoys jogging in philanthropic runs and resides in State College, PA with his wife and two children. |
